They list USB wireless dongles as g1222 mac compatable, when they are not. IP address is given out to the dongle and you’re up and running. Select rwl in the second drop-down menu and configure it, and the dongle will then be added to the interface list. You should get a notice telling you there is a new network interface dwwl you go to your network settings. Every report Y122 found concerning this version of the Driver with this specific dongle and WEP enabled was the same: Log into the router from another machine and see if you can find the IP address of the dongle.

Works like a charm, and even better- without the D-Link WiFi connect software! Open Prefs pane, select network and enter key as usual. Reboot and the computer should find it just fine.

This tip worked wonders! I downloaded the C1 driver with no luck, tried different chipsets. They wrote back and said that it was not a G1122 product.

For a little more money you can get a WiFi adaptor that does not need drivers. Install the proper driver as mentioned above.
