Rather than taking a big sound card, I decided to invest in the rest m-auido my studio PC overkill, guitars and basses horny sound and touch, microphone choices relatively large, multi-effect pedal for extension of inputs for the map.
I feel the sound quality was more than sufficient,it got the job done and it got the job done well very well.

I bought the first version I think I remember it is printed Rev. Packaging should be the same as what is found in a retail store, unless the item is handmade or was packaged by the manufacturer in non-retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or plastic bag.
Unknown January 1- Any Condition Any Condition. Abbleton, Cubase 5 and others. I don’t remember exactly how much latency I encountered with this card I do remember that whatever latency i did experience wasn’t enough to hurt my music creating experience especially with the use of ASIO4ALL. Latency down to 4ms with buffer reductions. I had one for years but a Tampa storm zapped it right through the surge protection. You may also like. Under win it I do not think it raises worries either.

Highly recommended for any older computer audiophole system mine is a Windows XP. Works great with my DAW. This particular sound card works well in “somewhat older” PCs. However, if I have more money I would turn to Digidesign and Apogee again, but probably I will keep this card in a corner or on the PC, if that reference sound. But card is powerful enough that I can hook up headphones to the standard speaker output.
I bought this ccard for a reasonable price.

M-Audio Audiophile PCI (2496) Sound Card
I think the card was fairly price just wish it had a few more bells and whistles but fairly priced. Always the same, or Linux brance and it works.
I do not have my PC on hand to check, but from memory it should be under 12ms to 44khz and 48khz at 8 under. I worked for a week with an M-Box Digidesign.
